A Modern Man (2022-2023) is Kirby Sibiski’s third album and final LP in the Reform, Anxious trilogy. The album was written during a period of upheaval marked by the end of his relationship with Maya, his parents’ divorce, his move to Philadelphia, the death of his grandfather, and his relationship with Anneke.
Most of the songs on the first half of the album were written while Kirby was living in Topton with his mother, grandfather, and cousin Josh. The middle section was recorded in North Philadelphia, while the lyrics for “Afogamento” were written in Lisbon, Portugal. The final three tracks were written and recorded in Kutztown.

Kirby was inspired to use the David with the Head of Goliath painting after a visit to The Philadelphia Museum of Art in 2025.
